When I found out I was pregnant in late May I decided I wanted to start a blog and now here we are in October and I am finally getting to it! I wanted to recap the highlights of my pregnancy and the other fun things we have been up to lately.
We found out we were expecting this past May around Memorial Day. I had a feeling we were pregnant before I even took a test, but it was confirmed on May 22nd. We had come home from dinner that Tuesday night and I decided to take a pregnancy test. Michael didn't even know that I was taking one, so when I came downstairs to show him that I had a positive test is he was pretty surprised! Michael had me take two pregnancy tests just to be sure. Needless to say we were thrilled to find out we were going to be parents.
Even though I am getting bigger now and moving slower, I have had a really smooth and healthy pregnancy. We feel so blessed that everyone is healthy and growing at a steady rate! Below are some pregnancy highlights!

| 21 weeks and 2 days at Orange Beach (9/23/12). Took a girls' trip to celebrate my friend Kate's upcoming wedding! This weekend I felt the baby move a lot--this was the first time I could feel and see him move from the outside, clearly he liked the ocean. |

| Was able to dig a hole in the sand so I could lay on my belly--it was great! Michael felt the baby move first the first time Monday night (9/24) the day I got home from the beach! |
