Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter. My parents came to town on Thursday night and we had a great time visiting with them. Michael and my Dad were able to golf on Saturday morning, while Mom, Liam, and I went to the zoo. We had Easter dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's on Saturday night and Easter brunch on Sunday morning there after mass. Aunt Melissa and the great Grandparents were in town over the weekend, too!

Exploring the Greenway

Liam and I went to a greenway a few miles from our house last week to explore and enjoy the beautiful morning. He walked with his walking toy some and then we took a stroller ride to a little park.

Liam has had a little stomach bug this week and he has been working in teeth, so outside time is what has been keeping him happy.

Garden Weekend

This past weekend we planted our garden in the raised bed Michael built for us. Michael has been doing a lot of research about gardening so hopefully we will get a lot of produce when summer rolls around. We planted tomatoes, zucchini, squash, onions, and bell peppers. I think I am going to try to grow some sweet potatoes and pumpkins in containers, but haven't planted them yet. Liam took a long morning nap on Saturday morning so Michael and I were able to get a lot done! 

Outlet Afternoon with Mom

Last week Liam went to the outlets with me two times and was so good both times! He went with Grandma and me on Wednesday and then again on Thursday afternoon so I could return some things. The weather was beautiful both days and Liam loved riding around in the stroller watching the people. He also got out of his stroller some and helped me push it around. I felt bad making him go shopping two days in a row so on Thursday we ate ice cream and rode a horse ride. We also discovered the Toys"R"Us outlet on Thursday and we got Liam his first lawn mower. I know his Pop will be excited!
