Splash Park

Liam went to the splash park for the first time this summer. I didn't have his trunks on him, but he enjoyed walking around in the water in his clothes! Below are some pictures.

Family Milestones: Bye-byes, Boo-boos, and Birthdays

We have had a lot of milestones this week:

Bye-bye school days! Liam had his last day of his first year of school on Tuesday, May 13th. We have absolutely loved this Mother's Day Out program and we are excited he will be returning this fall. His teachers (Ms. Rhonda and Ms. Kelly) have been so good to Liam and he has had so much fun in their class this year. It is amazing to think of how much he has grown and developed since he started as a 7 month old in August! It has been fun to hear about his days at school and to see all of the fun art projects he has brought home.

Liam fell this past Friday and scraped up his little nose. He was running down the driveway, tripped, and unfortunately his nose caught him :( He has had a little scrape on his chin before, but this is definitely his biggest boo-boo to date. He was very brave and only cried for a couple of minutes after it happened. Nothing a few m&m's couldn't fix :)

Daddy turns 30! Michael turns 30 on May 20th, so we had a family birthday party at his parents' house tonight. The dinner was awesome and Michael got some nice presents. Liam hasn't been feeling very well today (I think he is working on more teeth), but he still managed to help Daddy blow out his candles.

Last day of school! On his way to be dropped off at Grandma's and Grandpa's. (Don't worry he gets dressed there.)
Random picture from when we went to the pool this week.
My brave little guy after falling on his nose.
Playing with Daddy and Gus on a Saturday morning--life is good!

At Soly's 4th birthday party earlier this afternoon. Soly's daddy (Michael Beehan) went to college with Michael and me.
Getting ready to help blow out the candles!

He seemed to enjoy it, but was a little confused.

Louisville Trip for Lane's Party

My oldest niece, Lane, turned 5 on May 6th and she had a birthday party with all of her friends and family to celebrate. Michael, Liam, Gus, and I hit the road for Louisville for the weekend so we could be at the party. The party took place on May 10th and the theme was, you guessed it, FROZEN! She had friends from her class at the party and they were all super excited to be there (screaming, shouting, running!). My sister rented an awesome bounce house with a water slide on the side of it for all of the kids to bounce around in during the party. The party was from 3-5 and it torrentially down poured from 3-5. (Of course the sun came out promptly at 5:15.) The kids still bounced through the rain and everyone just went with the flow. My awesome sister took it all in stride, even though there were muddy/rain soaked 5 year olds eating Frozen birthday cake with PURPLE icing running all through her house.

Liam loved watching the big kids at the party. They were pretty entertaining and even performed "Let It Go" in my sister's living room after their pizza snack. Liam thought the whole thing was pretty magical and performed especially for him. I was trying to make sure there were plenty of beach towel on my sister's floor to help soak up water and mud so, unfortunately, I do not have many photos from the event. Below are the moments I was able to capture.

Spring Happenings (April/May)

I haven't blogged in almost a month and wanted to put up some pictures and videos. The walking video below is from the middle of April, but it is cute video so I wanted to post. He is getting faster and faster every day!! The second video is of him climbing in his rocking chair that GiGi (my mom's mom) gave him. He loves the rocking chair and has figured out how to get it to rock once he is in it. There are captions to go with the pictures below because they are a random selection from what we have been up to over the past month. Enjoy!!
